This summer I'll be writing a story a day for 100 days. The objective is to practice narrative middles primarily, taking an idea and following where character, place, image, event, and action take it.

Hopefully this effort will give me an opportunity to concentrate and reflect on elements of craft in short, concentrated stories.

As with summer 08, Carianne Mack, now Carianne Garside, will be joining me. Several other artists have also committed to the effort, too, which will make for a fabulous opportunity to share in the creative problem-solving process with friends. I thank them all.
